Young Carers Futures Programme: Carer Organisations
Our young carers futures programme is a great way for you to collaborate with Carers Trust in enhancing the lives of the young adult carers you support. Our aim is to provide your organisation with comprehensive support, focusing on:
- Improved employability outcomes for the young adult carers you support.
- Access to employment opportunities via Carers Trust’s network of corporate partners, nationally and locally.
- Access for young adult carers to pre-employment opportunities via employee volunteer support.
Our offer to you
Grants
We aim where possible to expand your capacity to deliver localised employment support via grants to extend your local employability offer.
Introductions to employers
We will provide you with introductions to national and local employers who would like to support young adult carers in your area.
Roundtable events
We will invite you to round table events where you can meet key stakeholders, hear about best practice and gain access to tools that will help you guide young adult carers along their employment journey.
We will also work with employers to normalise the conversation around young adult carers via our Carer Friendly Employer offer.
