Young Carers Action Day 2024: Resources

Our Young Carers Action Day (YCAD) 2024 resources are now available for download!  

These are to help everyone get involved in YCAD 2024 - young and young adult carers, their friends, professionals who might interact with young carers, and local carer organisations.  

Please download and share these resources with your friends, family and colleagues so we can spread the word about YCAD 2024!

  • Template letter to employers – to send to employers in your area, encouraging them to offer young adult carers support on the pathway into work. This could include career insight days and shadowing.
  • Template press release – to send to your local print, radio and TV media contacts to help raise local awareness about young carers and YCAD 2024 and to publicise your activities around the day.
