Carers Trust hosts a range of events, from conferences and webinars for our Network Partner local carer organisations to inviting carers to Number 10 Downing Street for Young Carers Action Day.
It’s important for carers to have a voice and be heard, whether it’s speaking to key decision-makers in Government or galvanizing industry and public support.
Carers Trust provides opportunities throughout the year for carers to speak at events. If you would like to share your insight and lived experience as a carer, contact our Carer Involvement team.

Carers Trust hosts two major conferences: the Network Partner conference and the Young Carers Futures conference.
The Network Partner conference brings together our network of local carer organisations across the UK to discuss the recent and long-term challenges carers face and how to combat them.
The event provides an opportunity to share good practices across the nations, exchange practical solutions, explore new ideas, and engage in debate.

The first Young Carers Futures conference was held in 2023 and is dedicated to improving life opportunities for young carers and young adult carers.
Many young people who care do not have the same chances to succeed in education and employment because of their caring roles, and the conference is about bringing people together to discuss how best to create fair futures for young carers.

Carers Trust offers a range of webinars throughout the year for the general public and exclusive audiences, including industry professionals, carers, Network Partners, and more.
Many of the webinars are tailored for carers, with industry professionals providing expert advice on specific topics. To stay updated on upcoming webinars, keep an eye on our social media channels, or alternatively, email events@carers.org to inquire about attending a webinar.
Carers Trust is invited to events with politicians and key decision-makers in Government throughout the year. We provide carers the opportunity to attend and speak to decision-makers. If you’re interested, please contact our Policy team.
Several of the political networking events happen around big campaigns we lead or support such as Young Carers Action Day (mid-March), Carers Week (mid-June) and Carers Rights Day (23rd November).
Every summer, young carers in Scotland have their very own festival. It’s important for young carers to take a break from their caring role, and the festival provides a great opportunity for just that. Young carers can meet other young carers, share their experiences, and importantly have fun!
