Giving to Carers Trust

Carers of all ages have been supported from the grants you help to fund.

From a single donation

£15 could provide a place at one of our local carer services, where a carer can take a break and join in with a range of activities from arts and crafts to sports.

£25 could go towards a dedicated mentor to offer support to a young carer while they are at school.

£75 could save an exhausted carer valuable time by going towards a washing machine or dishwasher – a vital piece of equipment for a carer.

£100 could give peace of mind to an anxious carer by contributing towards a series of counselling sessions.

Carers Trust local carer services submit the applications on their behalf and make sure they receive the help they need, whether it’s a household item, such as a bed, or a break from caring and the chance to join in support activities with other carers. Participating in these projects allow carers to benefit from peer support as well as providing them with expert information and advice through their local Carers Trust Network Partners.

Your generosity changes lives. Here is the difference your donations and legacy gifts will make to the 7 million unpaid carers in the UK.

Carers Trust grants make a life changing difference

The Carers Trust Network is made up of over 120 Network Partners across England, Scotland, and Wales. Our Network Partners across the UK specialise in the support and wellbeing of unpaid carers. Carers Trust grants enable our Network Partners to provide life-changing awards to the carers they support.

Thanks to you, our generous donors, in 2020/21 we were able to award over £4.3million in grants across the UK to support 33,744 unpaid carers.

£567,239 was awarded directly to 2,160 unpaid carers including grants towards:

  • 266 beds and bedding
  • 238 holidays and time away from caring
  • 206 items and services supporting digital inclusion.
