Filter resourcesEngaging with Pharmacies
Pharmacies are visited by about 1.6 million people every day in England so they are ideally positioned to identify carers of all all ages including young carers. They can therefore play a key role in the early initiation of assessment and support which can be life changing. This toolkit is aimed at young carer services to support them to work collaboratively with pharmacies. It draws on the Young Carers Pharmacy Project that took place between 2014 and 2016.
Commissioning for Carers
Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) across England are under enormous pressure to meet financial targets and priority areas for improvements within the NHS. Improving Health Outcomes for Older and Young Adult Carers
In 2011, Carers Trust was selected by People’s Health Trust to coordinate the delivery of health related projects managed by Carers Trust Network Partners across England, Scotland and Wales. An evaluation, casebook of projects and research into older carer's thoughts and feelings reflecting the impact of project activities delivered.
