Engaging with Pharmacies
Pharmacies are visited by about 1.6 million people every day in England so they are ideally positioned to identify carers of all all ages including young carers. They can therefore play a key role in the early initiation of assessment and support which can be life changing. This toolkit is aimed at young carer services to support them to work collaboratively with pharmacies. It draws on the Young Carers Pharmacy Project that took place between 2014 and 2016.
Protecting Young Carers from Bullying
This guide is aimed at all professionals who work with young people and are therefore likely to come across young carers. It aims to raise the awareness and understanding of the relationship between being a young carer and bullying, in order that proactive steps can be taken to help prevent young carers from being bullied.

The Triangle of Care, Carers Included: A Guide to Best Practice for Dementia Care (England)
The Triangle of Care describes a therapeutic relationship between the person with dementia (patient), staff member and carer that promotes safety, supports communication and sustains wellbeing. This guide is aimed at acute hospital wards and services where a person with dementia may be admitted but their dementia is not the reason for their admission.

This toolkit is targeted at commissioners of health and social care in England and aims to highlight the needs of carers aged over 60 and to show tried and tested ways they can be supported.
The Triangle of Care for Young Carers and Young Adult Carers, A Guide for Mental Health Professionals
Following consultation, Carers Trust has developed the Triangle of Care for Young and Young Adult Carers, A Guide for Mental Health Professionals as a supplementary guide to sit alongside the Triangle of Care. The Triangle of Care describes a therapeutic relationship between the patient, staff member and carer that promotes safety, supports communication and sustains wellbeing.
Improving Health Outcomes for Older and Young Adult Carers
In 2011, Carers Trust was selected by People’s Health Trust to coordinate the delivery of health related projects managed by Carers Trust Network Partners across England, Scotland and Wales. An evaluation, casebook of projects and research into older carer's thoughts and feelings reflecting the impact of project activities delivered.
