The following report brings together the consultation feedback gathered at the Scottish Young Carers Festival on 1 August – 3 August.
The Scottish Young Carers Festival is an annual event, funded by the Scottish Government, that provides young carers with the opportunity to have fun, meet new friends, offer a meaningful break from their caring responsibilities, as well as the chance to share their thoughts on key issues impacting their lives.
The following report will provide insight into the fun activities that young people had the opportunity to take part in, a summary of the invited guests section of the programme and will detail the findings from the various consultation opportunities.
