Carers Trust has just signed up as an official partner of the IIC Show, the trade & consumer event that actively promotes Inclusion, Independence and Choice for disabled people.

The IIC Show is SUPERSIZE Mixed Ability / Disability Exhibition for the general public, professionals, trade visitors and for anyone with an interest in the public, political and social aspects of disability.

The IIC Show, which is a free to attend event, will be the largest exhibition in the UK committed to presenting the most complete and comprehensive resource, educational and shopping event on every aspect concerning mixed abilities/disabilities, being held in a world class venue; Manchester Central, 14th-15th February 2014.

Show Director Joanne Poole says “The show was launched earlier this month and we have been overwhelmed by the positive responses from both professional organisations and members of the public.  We are delighted to welcome Carers Trust on board as one of our media partners.  Carers Trust works so hard to improve support and offer services and recognition for anyone living with the challenges of caring.  We strongly support their work and are delighted to be working with them on this event and look forward to providing extensive support for Carers at the IIC Show.”

Luen Thompson, Communications and Marketing Manager from Carers Trust added “Carers Trust are delighted to be a partner in this innovative and exciting new initiative which aims to demonstrate a range of products and services to carers and people they care for in a fun and engaging way. Working together with the Inclusion, Independence and Choice show in Manchester next February will really help to make carers count by sharing ideas, stories, information and challenges with professionals in education, health and social care, carers, those they care for and the general public in a great setting.”

The IIC Show will showcase over 300 exhibitors with thousands of products and services on show to promote Inclusion, aid Independent living and offer extensive Choice with a wealth of information, support and equipment/products.

Attendees will have the opportunity to view many of the new products and equipment available in the market, receive insights into the latest treatments and get practical knowledge and advice on healthcare, social-care, law, leisure, mobility, etc. and discover the latest technologies that are transforming the old un-equal landscape.
