Lunch and Learn series

In 2020/21 we will be holding four themed Lunch and Learn briefings to engage and inspire decision-makers and policymakers. We will develop thought-leading, sector- leading policy, research and practice through these dynamic, vibrant and innovative events.

Our events will provide a space for people who work in the spheres of policy, social care, education, healthcare, the third sector and public sector to share and learn together.

Why research matters in social care (12pm, 12 November 2020). 

Guest speaker, Professor Chris Taylor, Academic Director of the Social Science, Research Park at Cardiff University, will reflect on his experiences of embedding research into practice and why it matters.
