In the UK, there are around seven million unpaid carers. That means one in ten people is a carer right now and three in five of us will be an unpaid carer at some point in our lives.
Unpaid carers make up a big part of UK society and often face huge mental, financial and time pressures as a result of their caring role. The good news is that philanthropic support can go a long way to transforming the lives of many unpaid carers.
From charitable trusts and foundations to individual philanthropists, Carers Trust relies on donations and support from businesses and individuals to reach even more of the carers who need our help. We can even help businesses looking to support carers in the workplace.
