Partnership working

Working in partnership with other organisations helps us increase funding opportunities, solve key strategic issues and provides the opportunity to develop new services.

An example of our partnership working is our Making Carers Count programme which builds strategic alliances to deliver new services for carers.

The programme focuses on the identification and support of groups of carers who need additional or specialist assistance. This is particularly championing carers of people with mental health issues, older carers, including carers of people with dementia, young carers and young adult carers.

Carers Trust leads and works on a range of partnerships to influence policy and deliver effective programmes for carers. Our campaigning and service partnerships include:

The Care and Support Alliance

Health and Wellbeing Alliance

Disabled Children’s Partnership

The Young Carers Alliance

The Triangle of Care
