Carers Trust to receive £400,000 from National Garden Scheme

The National Garden Scheme has announced that Carers Trust is to receive £400,000 from its garden openings.

The scheme announced a record donation of £3.1 million from funds raised at garden openings in 2017 - a figure which has nearly doubled in ten years (£1.6million donated in 2008) and now brings the total donated to beneficiary charities since NGS was founded in 1927 to some £55million.

Carers Trust is one of beneficiaries which include a number of other both large and small charities.
