Adult carers can apply for a new range of grants to support them in their caring roles.

The grants are funded by money raised through the partnership between The Rank Group and Carers Trust launched earlier this year. They are distributed through the Carers Trust network of carers centres and schemes who provide carers with practical and emotional support, information and advice in relation to their caring role.
The Rank Cares Grant Funds aim to give carers the equipment and skills they need to carry out their caring roles in a more effective way, while also ensuring that their own health, wellbeing and quality of life are looked after.
Carers can apply for grants towards the cost of:

  • Essential household items such as cookers and washing machines
  • Short breaks to allow carers and their families to rest and recharge their batteries
  • Courses which will help carers to acquire new skills, and help them to return to work or overcome isolation in their caring role

Carers Trust Network Partners can also apply for funding to set up group activities, such as relaxation workshops, day trips or courses that will benefit carers.
Carers can apply for grants from the Rank Cares Grant Funds through their local Carers Trust Network Partner. Find details of your local Network Partner. Only carers living in an area covered by one of our Network Partners, and who are registered at a Network Partner, are eligible to apply for these grants.
