We’re looking for a group of carers/former carers aged 18 and over from across the UK who want to volunteer to read and comment on our magazine We Care.

Panel members will help us ensure that carers and their roles are represented appropriately in We Care.

It comes out three times a year and if you join the panel we’ll send you a draft copy of the magazine in advance of publication along with an online questionnaire about the magazine. We’ll ask you to read the magazine and to then comment on it from your point of view as a carer.

Being a member of the Readers Panel will give you the chance to influence our magazine. It might also give you experience to put on a CV.  Panel members will need to be interested in how carers are represented in our printed

materials and to want to help us put this across to people. You will also need access to the internet and to have an email address as all correspondence/feedback will  be by email/internet.

I’m interested, what do I do?

Send an email to Gill Kirby, Editorial Manager, gkirby@carers.org and she’ll send you more information

about what’s involved and how to join the panel.
