The Chancellor, the Rt Hon Rishi Sunak MP, has today announced in Parliament a support package to help people with the cost-of-living crisis.
Over the last three years a ground-breaking Carers Trust project has supported over 150 unpaid carers in London back into paid employment. The same project also worked with a further 600 carers, building their confidence and skills so they are better equipped to find a way back into work.
Since October 2016 146 unpaid carers or former carers have found employment thanks to Working for Carers, an innovative partnership between Carers Trust and its London-based Network Partners.
