Give a major gift
We welcome support from individual philanthropists who want to support us to reach even more of the carers who seek our help.
Whether you would like to make a one off gift (personally or through your trust or foundation), or join forces with others in your networks, for example to create a giving circle to maximise the impact and reach of your donation, the Carers Trust Philanthropy team will work with you to ensure your personal interests and aims are met.
Jane Quayle, Senior Major Donor Manager, leads a small team who will work with you to ensure that your gift has the biggest impact possible for unpaid carers.
Getting involved with our events
On 10 May 2019 a group of supporters helped us to organise a race day lunch at Ascot, which was attended by our President, Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal. We were delighted to raise more than £100,000 from the day.
We were delighted that our President also recently attended a dinner with some of our most longstanding and generous supporters. Our royal guest met our Chief Executive, Gareth Howells, and new members of our Board of Trustees, including Natasha who is a young carer.
If you would like to get involved and host an event, or help us organise a fundraising event, or make a major gift, please contact Jane Quayle at jquayle@carers.org or call her on 07738 217844.
Alternatively, you can donate online.
Pears Foundation
Pears Foundation is one of our longest-standing and most generous funders, having given more than £2.5m since it first became involved in supporting unpaid carers in 2002.
The flexibility of its funding is enormously valuable to us. Over the years, Pears Foundation has supported various projects and activities. Currently, part of its funding is unrestricted and the rest is supporting our policy activity and direct grants which we make via our local Network Partners to help those carers who are experiencing particular hardship.
Euromoney Magazine
Carers Trust was delighted to be the chosen beneficiary of the Euromoney Global Private Banking and Wealth Management Survey and Awards Dinner in February 2020.
The impact of your giving
You can leave it to us to use your donation where it is most needed, or support a specific project or area of our work which is of particular interest. We will regularly update you so that you can see the impact of your giving.
We offer a range of engagement opportunities for those who are interested in getting more closely involved.
