NHS Property Services is fundraising to support older carers with a focus on grants to individuals, and groups, to improve quality of life and combat the isolation and loneliness that so many older carers can feel.
In the summer of 2018, NHS Property Services staff cycled over 250 miles from London to Stockport. 30 cyclists and eight support crew members took part and they set themselves an ambitious target for the challenge of £15,000. In the end they managed to hit almost £35,000!
With more exciting fundraising events planned for 2019 we’re really looking forward to what’s to come.
Unpaid carers make a vital contribution to the health sector and we are delighted to be supporting Carers Trust and their important work.”

Carers Trust is delighted to be a charity partner of NHS Property Services. We thank them for their wonderful efforts in fundraising... as we know it will make a huge difference to unpaid carers across the country. With three in five of us set to become a carer at some stage in our lives, we need great partnerships like this to be able to meet this pressing need.”
