Help heating your home

There is help available to pay to heat your home.

Check if you, or the person you care for, qualify for:

  • Cold weather payment – if you get certain benefits
  • Warm Home Discount Scheme
  • Winter fuel payment
  • An energy efficiency grant. If you need help with energy efficiency improvements in your privately owned or rented home, there are a number of schemes that may be able to help - from the Government, energy suppliers, local councils and other sources. What is available depends on which UK country you live in.
