The Quilter Foundation
We are delighted to launch a three-year partnership with The Quilter Foundation, the charity founded by wealth management business, Quilter plc.
As part of the partnership, The Quilter Foundation aims to invest £1.5m over the next three years to pioneer support services and opportunities for young adult carers in the UK.
People’s Postcode Lottery
Carers Trust is delighted to have received an award of £400,000 from the players of People’s Postcode Lottery in 2017.
This award will transform the support carers receive, providing grants to individual carers and matching donations to kick-start vital projects, amongst other work.
Rank Group Plc
Carers Trust is delighted to be in partnership with Rank Group Plc, owners of Mecca Bingo and Grosvenor Casinos.
The partnership is funding the Rank Cares grants programme for carers across the UK.
The programme was shortlisted for a Third Sector Business Charity Award.
The Jockey Club, the largest commercial Group in British horse racing, has chosen to support Carers Trust over the next two years.
During this time, employees across 15 racecourses and the company's head office will be raising money for Carers Trust's vital ongoing work supporting unpaid carers.
Deloitte Internal Client Services in London has selected Carers Trust as its new charity partner for 2016-2019.
The partnership is part of Deloitte's One Million Futures initiative and is supporting unemployed carers in the London area.
Deloitte staff are supporting Carers Trust in lots of different ways and have been doing some fantastic fundraising for us.
Markel, a leading specialist insurer, has supported Carers Trust since 2008. It has raised over £200,000 to support Carers Trust's Essentials Fund, which gives grants to carers in financial hardship so they can buy essential household items.
Thomas Cook Children’s Charity supported Carers Trust’s work with young carers in 2017. The partnership offered funding towards young carers grants programmes: Explore More! and Time to Find ME!
Thomas Cook Children’s Charity also part funded the Young Carers in Schools Programme.
Charles Russell Speechlys LLP
Carers Trust was law firm Charles Russell Speechlys’ Charity of the year in 2017.
As part of this exciting partnership, staff took part in a number of fundraising events which included taking part in an open-water swim, an Ironman Triathlon and a UK cycling event.
The partnership was a huge success, raising over £130,000 which supported over 1,500 unpaid carers through our grant programmes Time to BE ME!, Carers in Transition and Carers in Crisis.
