Carers Space has changed! We've recently relaunched our website so we've got a shiny new community with a brand new chatroom and discussion boards — all working on your tablets and mobile phones. Log in or sign up here to check it out.

Join the conversation

Join our friendly and welcoming community, a place where you can connect with other carers, share your thoughts and concerns and ask for advice and support from people who understand. Carers Space is for carers aged 18 and over.

Before I was totally isolated - after I found this site I felt a warmth and friendship that I hadn't known for so long.

The community is supported by a friendly team of qualified support workers who drop into the community every day of the week, pop up regularly in the chatroom and answer questions sent in by email. Meet the Online Team.

Ask a question

There's a wealth of experience on the community and you might just find someone who's been through the same thing you're going through and can offer some great advice. Alternatively you can take a look through our Help & Advice pages or email the Online Team who are on duty every day if you'd like private advice by email.

It's comforting to know that I don't have to figure out everything on my own.

Live chat

The Carers Space chatroom is always open if you need someone to talk to. There are also regular sessions where a member of the Online Team will come in to join you, and it is also used for special events and community parties.

Events and Q&As

We often hold special events where a guest comes in to answer questions from the community about a particular subject. Past events have covered money and benefits, navigating the NHS and carers in the workplace.

You might not be able to say it to anyone else but you can say it here.
