Young carers face many challenges throughout the year and Christmas can be an especially tough time. When their friends are having fun, young carers’ responsibilities don’t stop.

That’s why we’re delighted Sir Ed Davey and the Bath Philharmonia’s Young Carers Choir have come together to record for a wonderful Christmas song – Love is Enough.

The song, in support of young carers through Carers Trust and the Bath Philharmonia, has been written by young carers and shines a light on their lives.

For children, being a carer can have a huge effect on every aspect of their lives, from school work and exam results to their own wellbeing. They go through all this just because they’re trying to do the best by those they love.

Ed Davey knows about that very well, having been a carer for his mum who had cancer when he was just a child.
