Carers Support Fund 2022-25

CymraegEnglish

The Welsh Government has announced £4.5million worth of funding to deliver the Carers Support Fund during 2022-25. The funding will support unpaid carers who are experiencing financial hardship due to the cost-of-living crisis and the ongoing impact of the pandemic.

This builds on the initial funding provided to Carers Trust Wales in 2020-21 and again in 2021-22 to deliver the Fund, which reached more than 10,000 unpaid carers in collaboration with our Network Partners.

Preparations are under way to launch the Carers Support Fund 2022 by Autumn at the latest. Applications will be administered by local carer services.

Carers Trust Wales will host further information about how to access the Fund when this is available later in the year. In the meantime, if you have any questions about the Fund, please contact us on wales@carers.org.
