We are looking for new mentors to join our successful ADVANCE development programme.
ADVANCE mentors have already helped over 45% of network CEOs develop their leadership skills, empowering them to grapple with the complexity of rapidly changing contexts, locally as well as nationally, in order to deliver and grow services that focus on the best outcomes for carers and those they care for.
Independent research shows that the calibre of our mentor team is fundamental to the impact and success achieved by network CEOs.
Who are our mentors?
Our mentors need to be senior leaders from the commercial, public, private and not for profit sectors who bring a track record of achieving service growth through dynamic, senior leadership, inspiring confidence in the people who work with them and spearheading development through strategic thinking and analysis.
Mentors are recruited on a voluntary basis. You will need to have the time to support Network Partners to develop lasting mentor/mentee relationships.
Our experience indicates that you need to commit 12 days across a 12 month period.

Being part of the successful ADVANCE mentoring team means you will be supported throughout your time with us, through a comprehensive induction programme, regular contact with our Lead Mentor and involvement with your peers in the ADVANCE mentoring community.
Effective mentoring as practised in ADVANCE involves mutual benefit to mentee and mentor. ADVANCE mentors benefit from the stimulus, challenge and satisfaction of bringing their experience to bear in a new context, working with a high level peer group and for a good cause.
