Cornwall - things to do and see?

I am abandoning my mother to respite care at the end of this week Sad emoticon (I suppose I’d better tell her soon) – cue major feelings of guilt Crying emoticon – and, after I’ve had a lie-in till at least 8:00am (what a luxury!), my partner and I are going to disappear into the depths of Cornwall for a week for some much needed R&R. We are staying ten miles south of Bude for three nights and then between St Agnes and Perranporth for another three nights.

Anyone got any recommendations for places to see, things to do etc?

Thanks

Great place to go on holiday. My wife and I are going in just under 3 weeks time. Lovely scenery round every corner including the lovely villages.

I am assuming that you have a car to get round with so you could go to Eden Project near St Austell, visit Tintagel Castle or go to the wonderful village of Polperro. You need to part at the top in the car park and walk down or get transport down into the village. It is all dependant on how far you want to go and what you want to see.

All I can say is enjoy yourself when you go to Cornwall.

Hi BB,
we all went to cornwall recently, stayed in Liskeard, but we did stuff that the boys would like, such as park farms. we went to landsend but that spretty much a tourist trap and you even have to pay for pictures now!
Looe is lovely; cream teas, little port town, boat rides out to sea. I also love padstow, another port town where there is a lobster house you can visit. and lots of little cute shops.

most places are delightful there, little pubs, villages and places with funny names!
Whateveer you do Im sure youll enjoy the break away from caring anyway, i hope the weather stays good for you.
Enjoy. Smile emoticon

Cheers guys and gals.

I now have a list long enough for two weeks so will have to weed it down a bit as I'm supposed to be having a rest as well Sad emoticon

Oooooh I'm all excited - anyone would think I'd never been on holiday before

If you get chance to go to The Lizard peninsula i highly recommend it. Very secluded and pretty with lots of little coves.

.
The Lizard haven't been there for years, wot a fab place that is, Mullen Cove is lovely Smile emoticon and Kynance Cove where I almost got swept out to sea, (some will wish I had Yes emoticon )
and where my dog (Mr Iffi Bone) almost got blown of the cliff, he was small, the wind was strong and it got inside his jacket so it kind of inflated, good job he was on a lead or he'd have been gone Crying emoticon . I wonder would the life boats come out to rescue a little dog? Oh My! emoticon
