After 2years fighting Lexi finally got to join the other kids to & from the respite centre and school in December !!
Imagine my surprise when school phoned to say they wouldnt take him and LEFT HIM AT SCHOOL !! Angry emoticon Oh My! emoticon

I got Lexi there eventually and found out the transport dept phoned social services who phoned the respite centre to say he would not be allowed on the bus. NO ONE TOLD ME !! Thats more than an oversight it`s bloody incompetance !!
Several letters an phone calls later still waitin to hear them grovell !! There excuse so far escorts an training for medication re Epillepsy.

I cant believe they left a severly mentally & physically chair bound child at school Oh My! emoticon Poor Lexi was so dissapointed.
HEADS WILL ROLL FOR THIS !!! Devil emoticon

dont talk to me about transport !!! i had a run in a few weeks ago with the transport that take my daughter to and from school. She was 'misbehaving' and i use that term loosely cos she wasnt really doing anything, and they refused to bring her home !!!!!! Cursing emoticon Cursing emoticon Obviously i dont mind picking her up, but even the teacher argued with them that she wasnt doing anything wrong but they wouldnt have it and they turfed her off the bus. She is severely autistic and like a big toddler. I was so angry with them, that i reported them. Cursing emoticon Cursing emoticon Cursing emoticon They should be trained to deal with disabled children, and if they cant deal with them then they are in the wrong job !!
