Where to find part-time carer in London ?

Looking to find someone who can help out over a long weekend with my Dad who has Parkinson's.
It would just be a one-off trip to London (he lives in Belfast) so I was wondering where was the best place to find someone? I guess it would from an agency - any suggestions as to where to start / where's good ?

Mon 2 Jun 2008 10:19Sorry, cant help you much, yes you need to contact an agency, just work your way through the directory for the area of London he'll be in.
Depending on how many hours and what needs doing, I doubt it'll be cheap. Good luck with your search.

Tue 3 Jun 2008 06:07Thanks Greebo...Kinda guessed it won't be cheap, was more concerned about trying to find a good person. Am trying with the Parkinson's Society to see if they can recommend any particular agency..
