With our best entry for years, with a undesputed performance, we still came bottom
i know this mail has nothing to do with carers but i care that the uk are being used as a political laughing stock
why does everything always come down to red tape and politics? we should pull out next year

Sat 1 Nov 2008 16:01It's all political and nothing to do with the best song or performance any more, just you vote for me and I'll vote for you

Sat 1 Nov 2008 17:46Last time I think I watched it was when Abba did waterloo lol.
Maybe the UK have finally met their waterloo too eh!!!
Didnt even know it was still on to be honest.
But yeah you're right El, Britain does seem to be a laughing stock generally these days- we're not even calling it GREAT Britain anymore and with all the bloody immigrents coming in and taking the whatsit all the other countries are laughing at us.

Sat 1 Nov 2008 17:59I get the impression that as far as Eurovision is concerned countries are not so much laughing at us but looking down their noses at us. We are definitely not liked.
Terry Wogan is the only good thing about it because I love his caustic comments and he has me in stitches.
Its time we withdrew gracefully with our noses in the air!!

Sun 2 Nov 2008 19:42i watch the eurovision and laugh at some of the songs. We are miles better than most of them. But no one likes us so they give us "nul points"
