Macular Degeneration

My mother is 86, has AMD, but is mentally 100% ok. She lives alone and although I see her everyday, she is of course lonely and bored. She attends the Bucks Blind Assoc meetings on Mondays. Does anyone know of any other club/meeting she could go to to meet local people in a stimulating environment bearing in mind she has very, very little sight left.
