I have payed a large debt off today !! I have sorted out all my endless washing. I have filled in various forms and sent them all off. My house is clean and no rice krispies dropped all over the floor. I hope nothing bursts my happy bubble today!! oh yeah, the sun is actually shining...

good for you i wish it was catching. i was having a great day till i went to the drs for a new patient check up. think ive got diabetes, hubby got home and developed the foulest mood imaginable. id done tones of washing and ironed the lot,
god i wish it was bedtime.

Katew, sorry you had such a bad day - it all tends to come at once doesn't it. Theurine test (that's the usual one GPs do on new patients is for type 2 diabetes, not the sort that means loads of injections and blood tests. All it means is that you'll need to eat a fairly healthy diet, take any blood pressure medication your doctor recommends (it can slow down sight loss etc caused by diabetes), look after your feet, and get your eyes checked (for free) in hospital at least once a year. You can still live a long and full life.
