hi is there anyone in the group that is caring for a dying relative or friend finding it hard at moment. Would love to chat to someone who has an understanding of where im coming from. thanks milly xx

any carer whether they are caring for a terminally ill person or not will understand where you come from. 6 yrs ago i cared for my dad who was terminally ill and now i care for my hubby who has ppms. any time you need a chat let me know.

We chatted in the chat room lastnight.
I too cared for both my parents. Mam was in ill health for along time. Dad I cared for during the last six moths of his life which increased when he was diagnosed with Cancer three months before he died.
Just pm me if you ever wish to chat as you will be going through a lot of mixed emmotions at the moment.
As one of my son's teacher once said to me while I was caring for my Dad. You were not around when they were born but it is such a wonderful privliage to be part of their lives while they are closing down towards the end of their lives.
Hard as it sounded to take in I really understood what she meant and that personally helped me through those days of caring for my Dad.
