Staff are available to support and represent Carers in situations such as review meetings.
Staff are able to advise on a range of benefit issues.
South Ayrshire Council has a dedicated Welfare Rights Officer for Carers to which Carers can be referred.
The Centre has produced a full information pack,which includes sections on: Information, Young Carers, Health, Stress, Benefits,local Support, etc.

Opportunities exist to access training through various organisations and groups eg. 1st Aid, Moving & Handling, Dementia Awareness and IT Training.
Staff are available to assist in the completion of Benefit forms such as Disability Living Allowance, Attendance Allowance, Carers Allowance.
